Anyway, don’t you want to know why I started revisiting my TVB drama viewing history? Of course you do.
Teresa Cheung sings the theme songs to both the Return of the Condor Heroes series in 1983, and Bottled Passion in 2011. Her voice has pickled nicely for perpetuity.
P.S. Bottled Passion is so good! It’s weepy and melodramatic (as opposed to super weepy and totally melodramatic, aka K-dramas) and Niki Chow’s character and acting kind of sucks and I still don’t give a fuck. They are telling a well-constructed, well-plotted story and the characters aren’t acting OOC, and you can tell, as opposed to some shows I shan’t mention*.

When is stocky little Hayden Panettiere gonna get rid of that fake-ass wig? It’s distracting. Girls on television have haircuts, don’t they? It’s like Claire on Lost again, who had a ridiculously fake wig also, but at least she was stranded on an island. Then again, there was all that Dharma stuff, so NOBODY in the Initiative had scissors? I mean, really. But Hayden’s is way worse because they keep doing stuff to it, like braiding it, pulling it into a ponytail, making it do tricks illusions.
